Our spotlighted student poet is Poorna Rajeevan, class of 2010. Her submitted poem is below:

An Etched Rainbow
Look at us - a rainbow,
Damped across the dewed clouds in the sky.
We boast our stained colors,
Wearing our love with a certain pride.

It rains, it thunders.
A thousand tears downing your fearful cry.
But I take your hand,
And dance with you,
Like a rainbow etched in a mourning sky.
