Collins Hill High School Media Center

Creating DVD slideshows with Windows DVD Maker

1. Open Windows DVD Maker here at school. Insert a blank DVD into the drive. Blank DVDs are available for $1 in the media center.
2. Add your pictures by clicking "Add Items" or by dragging and dropping your files. Change the title of the DVD if you want.
3. For more info about menu options and DVD playback options, click here. Otherwise, click "Next."
4. Choose your menu style. You may also preview your video, edit the text, or customize the menu if you want.
5. Click "Slideshow" to change your slideshow settings. You can add music, change the number of seconds each picture shows, change how pictures transition, and choose to use the pan and zoom effect.
6. Click "Burn." Burning might take a little while, depending on the size of your files.
7. Your DVD will eject when it's complete. It will play in a computer or on a DVD player.
