Collins Hill High School Media Center

How to Burn a DVD

1. Open Windows DVD Maker here at school. Insert a blank DVD into the drive. Blank DVDs are available for $1 in the media center.
2. Add your video(s) by clicking "Add Items" or by dragging and dropping your files. You can rearrange clips by dragging them up or down. Change the title of the DVD if you want.
3. For more info about menu options and DVD playback options, click here. Otherwise, click "Next."
4. Choose your menu style. You may also preview your video, edit the text, or customize the menu if you want.
5. Click "Burn." Burning might take a little while, depending on the size of your files.
6. Your DVD will eject when it's complete. It will play in a computer or on a DVD player.

Note: You can add pictures in addition to video on one DVD using this program.

Have questions or need help? Stop by the media center and ask Mrs. Frilot or Mrs. Golemme.
