*Music MUST be "ripped" to the computer; regular "copy and paste" will only create cda files, which function mostly like shortcuts.

- Insert the CD the into the CD/DVD drive.
- Open Windows Media Player.
- If it opens in "Now Playing" mode, switch view to "Library" mode. (Look for the button that's three squares and an arrow.)
- Un-check any tracks you don't wish to add.
- Click "Rip CD" on the top menu. This will add the tracks to your music library.
- Eject the CD. Click "Music" on the left music to find the tracks you've added.

- Insert a blank CD into the CD/DVD drive. If the AutoPlay box appears, close it.
- Open Windows Media Player.
- If it opens in "Now Playing" mode, switch view to "Library" mode. (Look for the button that's three squares and an arrow.)
- Click the "Burn" tab on the right side of the screen. (It should default to "Audio CD." If it doesn't, click the Burn Options button on the far right that has a check mark in it and choose "Audio CD.")
- Find the songs you want to burn and drag them into the "Burn List" pane on the far right.
- You can change the order of songs by dragging them up and down. Remove them by right-clicking and choosing "Remove from List."
- When the list is complete, click "Start Burn" at the top right. This may take a few minutes.
- If you have more songs that there is space for on the CD, you'll have the option to burn the rest on another CD.
- The CD will eject when finished.
